The Sun is the center of our solar system, the massive body around which the planets orbit. It is located at the edge of the Milky Way galaxy, and orbits the center of it.

The Sun is a star, a ball of hot and dense plasma that gives rise to nuclear fusion in its core. Because of this, the Sun radiates large amounts of light and radiation.
