The gas giant Saturn probably consists of a rocky core covered by liquid hydrogen and helium, followed by a layer of gas.

Saturn is recognizable by its rings, which consist of small particles that orbit the planet, mostly ice. The other gas and ice giants also have ring systems, but only Saturn’s rings are really clearly visible.
